Final Fantasy 16, God of War 2, Demons Souls and much more

As part of a showcase, Sony Interactive Entertainment demonstrated what the upcoming PlayStation 5 can do and which games you can look forward to in the coming months. We summarize the event for you.

PS5 Showcase: An Overview

Microsoft recently started, but now Sony has stepped up and revealed the price and release date of the PlayStation 5 during the stream.

Overall, the event was just 45 minutes long, but it was also packed with new trailers and plenty of gameplay for the games that will be coming to PlayStation 5 in the next few months. There was a surprise or two.

Final Fantasy 16

The "Final Fantasy" series is growing with Final Fantasy 16. This time the game takes us back to an earlier era and tells us the story of young Joshua and his protector.

“The legacy of the crystals has shaped our history long enough,” says the description, and more details will certainly follow in the next few weeks.

Final Fantasy 16 appears for PlayStation 5 and later for the PC.

Spider Man: Miles Morales

Sony released new pictures for the upcoming "Spider-Man" game. This time we got a look throw at the fast-paced gameplay, which will probably require a lot of instinct.

The game will be released at the end of 2020.

Hogwarts Legacy

"Harry Potter" fans will get their money's worth at Hogwarts Legacy. Harry and his friends are probably not featured in the game, but it certainly won't be boring because you have to Brew potions, learn spells and raise mystical beasts.

The official description of the game says:

“Experience a new story that takes place at Hogwarts around 1800. Your character is a student who holds the key to an ancient secret that threatens to tear apart the world of wizards. Find allies, fight dark wizards and decide the fate of the world of wizards. "

Hogwarts Legacy is expected to be released in 2021.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War

Developer Raven Software has presented the long-awaited single-player campaign for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. In addition, it was announced that PlayStation 4 players finally get their desired multiplayer mode receive. You can already download the mode from September 17, 2020 and you can join the fray on Friday.

Resident Evil: Village

There were new pictures for the latest "Resident Evil" game. It's dark, scary and full of horror – that's exactly what what the fans love in turn.

The developer is still silent on a release date, but it should be ready in 2021.

Deathloop

There's a new trailer for Deathloop, an upcoming one Action adventure game from Bethesda Softworks.

Deathloop is expected to be released in the second quarter of 2021.

Devil May Cry 5 Special Edition

Devil May Cry 5 is back and, according to the developers, it's better than ever. The new features include the addition of Dante's brother and arch rival Virgil as a playable character as well as the Turbo mode, Legendary Dark Knight, Ray Tracing and much more.

The game will be available digitally when PlayStation 5 launches.

Oddworld: Soulstorm

Abe is back. According to the developer, the upcoming game is still much bigger and badder than the parts before. Until we know whether this is true, we have to be patient a little longer.

Five Nights At Freddy's: Security Breach

If you like jump scares, Five Nights At Freddy's is for you. The horror classic is getting a new video game. A trailer conveys the first impressions.

Demon's Souls

The Bluepoint Games team has been working with Sony Japan on the remake of the former hit "From Software" for almost three years, but the remake of Demon's Souls is about to be released. Until then, we'll have to be content with a trailer.

God of War: Ragnarok

The fans wanted it and Sony listened to them. As part of the event the sequel to God of War announced: Ragnarok.

God of War: Ragnarök is due to be released in 2021.
