A smooth game
VG Tech examined the performance of the Final Fantasy 7 remake and compared the game on PS4 and Playstation 4 Pro. As the video shows, 30 fps are kept constant, even during the final fight, where things get really tough. The demo is apparently limited to 30 fps. Because it is surprising that the PS4 and PS4 Pro show the same performance. Because at events, the game was already presented on the Playstation 4 Pro at 60 fps. We'll see how it looks with the full version.
VG Tech explains: "When outputting at 2160p, the PS4 Pro uses dynamic resolution, with the lowest found resolution being approximately 2133 x 1200 and the highest found resolution being 2880 x 1620. The PS4 Pro appears to output at 1080p with forced supersampling disabled Render with a native resolution of 1920 x 1080. The regular PS4 uses dynamic resolution, with the lowest found resolution being approximately 1600 x 900 and the highest found resolution being 1920 x 1080. Pixels below 1920 x 1080 appear to be rare on PS4. "
What you can say: The Final Fantasy 7 remake runs very smoothly on both the PS4 Pro and the PS4. The game will be released on April 10, a holiday.
