So far, we have had to resort to mods when the makeup selection offered in The Sims 4 was not enough. That is changing now, because Maxis is partnering with M · A · C Cosmetics and bringing so much more color into play.

The Sims 4

You have to admit, the Sims 4 already has a wide range of clothing and make-up looks to choose from, thanks to extensions and packs, but obviously it is even better. Thanks to a partnership between Maxis and M · A · C Cosmetics, make-up enthusiasts can now let off steam and maybe even get some inspiration for real life.

In the free base game update, which is available to all Simmers who own the "The Sims 4" base game, players are already experimenting with the M A C looks to adapt them to the wide range of face shapes and skin tones. If you look at pictures already published in the gallery attracts, there seems to be almost no limit to creativity.

Here, however, you needed a little more make-up.

The Sims 4: Colorful, elegant, M A C

The players now have the opportunity to choose from a wide range of palettes and color schemes and to let their creativity run free on their Sims. It doesn't matter what skin color you have.

Romero Jennings, M A C Director of Makeup Artistry, created the different looks for different skin tones and put them there focus on lips, face and eyes:

“As a black make-up artist, it was particularly important that the looks work for simmers of all skin tones. It was so much fun to make my real-life make-up creations like B. digitally from numerous photo shoots, from training courses, from pop culture and from fashion weeks. With so many of us around the world now staying at home, our partnership will inspire Simmer to become makeup artists and express their personality in a whole new way. I can't wait to see the Simmer creations in the game and in real life, ”said Jennings.

To use the free update, you need the base game The Sims 4 and all updates. If you don't have the game yet, feel free to use the following button.
