First details of celebrations for the 25th anniversary known
For the 25th anniversary of the Pokémon series, those responsible at the Pokémon Company have planned a few surprises. Now the company has revealed the first details about these plans. In the coming months fans can not only look forward to new announcements, merchandise and events, there will also be music soon under the name "P25 Music". The Pokémon Company works with the Universal Music Group on this.
For the songs, the company will not only rely on rising artists, but also on well-known names from the industry. Among other things, Katy Perry will publish a song for the 25th anniversary of the series. To mark the festivities, the Pokémon Company also presented a new video that looks back in a special way on the last 25 years of Pokémon. At the end we get a foretaste of the song by Katy Perry, which will probably have the title "Electric".
There was also one for the anniversary website started, on which you can click your way through the different stations of Pokémon history. Of course, there will soon be new information about upcoming games from the Pokémon universe. According to one insider there should possibly be a Pokémon Direct in February 2021. Current projects include Detective Pikachu and Pokémon Snap for Nintendo Switch. A date for a direct has not yet been revealed. The next big project should follow at the end of the year. Whether it is a remake or a new generation is still unclear.

So far we have financed this site through advertising and kept it as free of clickbaits or paid items as possible, but since COVID-19 this has become increasingly difficult. For this reason we turn to you now. You can support us as a PC Games supporter so that we can continue to offer our content in the usual form for free, without introducing a paywall or publishing clickbait news like "And you won't believe what happened next …" . Every contribution, large or small, is valuable.
