Nintendo and Platinum Games have released the first Bayonetta 3 gameplay trailer. For many years fans had to wait for news about the action game. In addition, the makers also presented the release year. The title is slated for Nintendo Switch in 2022.

In December 2017, Bayonetta 3 was revealed with a teaser – almost four years later there is now the long-awaited gameplay trailer with the first scenes from the action game by Platinum Games. Among other things, Bayonetta has been given a new look. Brand new skills also emerge from the material. The popular witch also seems to be able to control demons directly. At the end of the trailer, the makers also give a look at the release year.

Bayonetta 3 should therefore appear exclusively for Nintendo Switch in 2022. If you take a look at the gameplay, fans can look forward to the usual action that was already there with the two predecessors. Part 1 of the series was published in 2009. Five years later, the successor – exclusively for Wii U – appeared in stores. In 2018, Nintendo brought a re-release of Bayonetta 1 & 2 on Nintendo Switch. As Game Director, Yusuke Miyata is responsible for the project. Most recently, Miyata worked as lead designer on Scalebound – until the title was discontinued in 2017. However, some elements from Scalebound should be found in Bayonetta 3.
