The gameplay scenes come from a Miami map at night – at the start of the round, the map greets the players with fireworks. It is your job to protect a VIP. The game mode shown is designed for 6vs6 battles and comes with a system for resuscitation – reminiscent of Cyber Attack from Modern Warfare. Among other things, fans make a larger minimap: the map appears to be much larger in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War than in the current first-person shooters. It remains to be seen whether that will change before the final version. Red dots on the mini-map indicate firefights between the opponents.
The perks include Ghost, Tac Mask, Ninja, Tracker, Flak Jacket and Scavenger. The weapon selection includes, for example, Commando (XM4), M16, Stoner 63, MP5, AK-74U and SPAS-12 (Semi-Auto). Further information can be expected for the coming week: According to ModernWarzone, high-reach content creators from the COD universe took part in the alpha event. That means that numerous more gameplay videos will appear around September 9th.
Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is coming to PC, PS4 and Xbox One on November 13th. Versions for PS5 and Xbox Series X are also announced. There will be a beta before the release – probably in October.
