Star Wars: The Mandalorian – Special-Look-Video with new scenes

In the EW article comes showrunner Jon Favreau (Iron Man, The Orville, The Lion King) who explains:

"The new season is about bringing a bigger story into the world. The stories will be less isolated, yet each episode has its own" flavor "and we will hopefully bring a lot more leeway to the series. Everything will be bigger, those Stakes get higher, but the personal story between the child and the Mandalorian also develops in a way that I think people will enjoy.

As we introduce other characters, there are opportunities to follow different storylines. The world was really captivated by Game of Thrones and how the series developed as the characters followed different storylines – that's very appealing to me as a viewer "

There is also an insight into the character of Moff Gideon. Actor Giancarlo Esposito sees his alter ego as a manipulative opponent of the Mandalorian:

"I'll be face-to-face with Mando. It's an iconic battle. I want to mentally disarm him too. Who knows? Maybe there will be an opportunity to get him to fight a few fights for me. You might hold me for a villain but I am trying to put some energy and some powers on a path that might be best for everyone. You will see that he is a bit diplomatic and more of a manipulator. It's so exciting for me to be in one To be a show where I can wear a cloak and wield a lightsaber and really master it. "

According to actress Gina Carano, some of the rumors about season 2 are supposed to be true, while others are not. Probably this is about that Newcomers to the cast and their characters. And now, as promised, the first picture impressions from season 2:
