First trailer for the new racing simulation for Xbox Series X

from Dominik Zwingmann
A reboot from Forza Motorsport is about to start. Turn 10 is currently working on a new part of the racing simulation that will be released exclusively for Xbox Series X and the PC. However, the release seems to be a few years ahead, as the title, according to Xbox boss Phil Spencer, is in early development. Thanks to the improved performance of the Xbox Series X, the first innovations were also presented.

Microsoft and Turn 10 have confirmed the development of Forza Motorsport for Xbox Series X. The new racing simulation is a reboot, which is why the makers decided against the title "Forza Motorsport 8". The game is said to be in an early stage of development at the current time.

Forza Motorsport will be released exclusively for Xbox Series X and the PC. A release on Xbox One is not planned. This means that fans will probably have to wait a few more years for the title. According to Xbox boss Phil Spencer, the games at Xbox Games Studios will continue to appear for both generations, at least for the coming years. In keeping with the announcement, there was also a trailer for racing simulation.

The release for Xbox Series X will of course also give Forza Motorsport some technical innovations. Among other things, all virtual racers can look forward to ray tracing support, which will make reflections on the vehicle or light and shadow look even more detailed and realistic. 4K and 60 frames per second have already been promised for gameplay.

Forza Motorsport will also be available on Xbox Game Pass for Xbox Series X and PC from day 1. As soon as there is news about the racing simulation, you will find it here with us. To reduce waiting times, Forza Horizon 4 will receive a next-gen update. In addition to 4K / 60FPS, the loading times should also be improved enormously.
