The best Fortnite players will again only meet on the Internet in the coming year. The Epic Games team announced on the blog that all esports events in 2021 will not be able to take place live in front of an audience due to the pandemic. Including the Fortnite World Cup, which was completely deleted from the calendar of the Battle Royale shooter this year. The event will return in 2021 with a new concept. One day, however, the team would like to host and broadcast esports events with a live audience again.
Epic Games has also announced an update for FNCS. Accordingly, the team size will be three players by default in the future. "Chapter 2 – Season 5 FNCS" will start on February 4th, 2021. More details about the event will be available shortly beforehand. Other tournaments are also on the program parallel to the new FNCS. Duels in solo or duo mode are also available here. The new season of Fortnite started just a few days ago. The highlights of the Battle Pass include The Mandalorian, which is available as a playable figure in the shooter. Shortly after the launch of Chapter 2 – Season 5, a cooperation with Sony was also announced. At the start of the Gaming Legends series is Kratos from God of War currently available in the shop. More icons will be added in the coming weeks. One of the favorites is the Master Chief from Halo. Kratos is still available until December 10th.
