Dataminer have discovered animation in the game data from Fortnite's latest update that could indicate swimming underwater. However, it is still unclear whether this file will actually end up in the game later. Since the start of Chapter 2, players have been able to swim on the water surface and use their weapons.
Swimming has always been a special topic at Fortnite. Only with the start of Chapter 2 a few months ago, Epic Games introduced more robust animations and possibilities in the water. Now Dataminer have looked at the current version of the Battle Royale shooter and found other things that indicate improved swimming in Fortnite. It looks like players will soon be able to swim underwater. You can find the tweet below.
So far, players can swim on the water surface and use their weapons as usual. However, it is still unclear whether the underwater animation will actually land in a later version of the game. In the coming days, it will also be an exclusive event in Fortnite (buy now for € 9.99) give. Musician Travis Scott will present his new song. Several slots between April 24th and April 26th are available here. The title was also recently released on the Google Play Store – despite great criticism from Epic Games.
