A week before the start of Season 5 in Fortnite, Dataminers discovered new details on Twitter about the upcoming content for the Battle Royale shooter. Among other things, "The Mandalorian" will probably be the figurehead of the upcoming Battle Pass. In the current leak, Din Djarin can be seen in the middle of a picture. So it looks like that The Mandalorian similar to how Deadpool can be unlocked with the Battle Pass over the course of the season.

The Child can also be seen in the background – but what role "Baby Yoda" will play in Fortnite has not yet been determined. The Mandalorian was also seen directly behind the Battle Pass logo in a second advertising image that appeared in advance of a dataminer on Twitter. An official confirmation from Epic Games is pending.

Just recently a partnership between Disney and Epic Games was launched. Until the end of the year, Fortnite players will receive a free month for the Disney + streaming service if they make a purchase in the in-game shop. The new episodes of the second season of The Mandalorian can currently be seen there on a weekly basis. If the leak is correct, the announcement should be made shortly. Fans are already speculating whether the new season in Fortnite will now completely revolve around Star Wars – similar to what was last the case with Marvel. Others believe that the focus is more on The Mandalorian.
