Sony is releasing the “free” PS Plus games for May 2021. In the new month, members of the online service will also receive additional games with their subscription included. You start the downloads in the course of the morning – after the next update in the PlayStation Store. Around noon, the May games for PlayStation Plus should be linked to your account. PS Plus members on PS4 will receive the first person shooter Battlefield 5 and the survival title Stranded Deep in the new month. The Destruction Derby Wreckfest is especially available on PS5. You can find out what to expect from the new inclusive games in the video below.
The new PS Plus games will be available for download throughout May. To get access, you need a paid subscription for PlayStation Plus: The annual membership costs around 60 euros. Until the new inclusive games are activated, you will still get access to the games that Sony distributed last month: Days Gone, Zombie Army 4: Dead War and Oddworld: Soulstorm (PS5).
As soon as you have linked the games to your PSN account, you can play them permanently within an active PS Plus membership. The announcement of the June games for PS Plus is expected on May 26th, provided Sony does not change the known process. The next plus games should be available for download on June 1st.
