The developers of Pokémon Go have tested an expansion of the egg inventory over the past few days and apparently found one of the two options available to be good. The bonus storage for eggs is now available to every trainer and stores up to three special eggs. We explain the small but fine details to you.
Again there is good news for the Pokémon Go players who have been annoyed about the management of the egg inventory of Niantic's pocket monster collection app since the introduction of the 12km eggs. Because from now on the bonus storage is available in the game and ensures that you have three more slots available in the egg inventory. Special eggs are stored in these three places.
The eggs that you can get hold of via the weekly reward through Adventure Sync are classified as such (a 5km egg for 25 kilometers run, up to a 5 km egg and a 10 km egg for 50 kilometers covered). The eggs that you get from a fight against a boss from Team Rocket, i.e. the 12km or curious eggs, end up in this egg store.
This means that you still can't delete eggs from your inventory, but at least the special eggs won't necessarily go off if you don't have any space in your inventory. But logical: If the bonus storage is full, you will not collect any further special eggs.
The bonus retention test was activated around two weeks ago, at the beginning of December 2020, for randomly selected players from all over the world. As part of the A / B test, the debate was whether only three special places should be added to the egg inventory or whether the special eggs should end up in an extra tab. Apparently, the solution with the extra tab was more popular.
