Cyberpunk 2077 was originally supposed to be released on April 16, 2020, but due to desired improvements by CD Projekt Red, the game was postponed. GameStop has probably not really noticed this yet and would like to buy used copies now.

GameStop and the loyalty programs

The GameStop company is represented around the world and also offers numerous programs to encourage customer loyalty. In this country it's called GameStop +. The more products you pre-order, buy or sell with it, the better the benefits you will get.

In the USA the program is called PowerUp Rewards, which offers its pro-level members multiple benefits and greater flexibility in terms of new and used video games, accessories, collectibles and more However, this program does not seem to be up to date there.

GameStop is looking for used copies

It doesn't seem to affect German branches, but are currently in the US automatic mails to "PowerUp Rewards" members on the go and thanks to Reddit users stop-trying-2-be-god we also know the content:

"Done with Cyberpunk 2077? Get $ 30 when you trade it in!"

GameStop will have to be patient because the game appears probably not until December 10, 2020.
