The Free2Play game Genshin Impact gets a cross-platform co-op mode. This should appear with the final closed beta in autumn 2020. The aesthetics of the open-world action role-playing game are very similar to Nintendo's The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
Genshin Impact from the miHoYo development studio impresses with its look, which at first glance is very reminiscent of Nintendo's The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. The world of the open world game is supposed to remind of medieval areas in Europe and Asia. The characters in the game, on the other hand, were based on anime characters by the Chinese developers.
The action role-playing game was previously only playable on PC, Android and iOS. With the upcoming final closed beta, however, this should change. Now PS4 players should also have the opportunity to play the Breath of the Wild clone in anime style. In addition, a new cross-platform co-op mode will be launched. Genshin Impact producer Hugh Tsai said:
"We are pleased that players across the globe had fun with the last closed beta of Genshin Impact and were able to give us so much useful feedback at the same time. Based on this, we plan to implement some changes and improvements in the final closed beta.
The cross-platform co-op mode is an important component of Genshin Impact and it will take a central place in the final beta phase. We're excited to see how players react to team-oriented gameplay. "

In January it was announced that Genshin Impact will also be released for the Nintendo Switch. In order for you to be able to take part in the closed beta that takes place in autumn 2020, you must register at the official website Sign in. This also applies to those who have already participated in a beta phase. The progress and characters will be deleted at the end of the final beta phase.
Are you going to take a look at Genshin Impact when it is officially released or do you prefer to go for Breath of the Wild if you have a switch?
