Today SciFi fans celebrate the official “Star Wars Day” and the developers of SWTOR are giving their players their own “M4-Y10” astromech droid as a pet.
SciFi fans all over the world celebrate “Star Wars Day” on May 4th. In keeping with the big celebration, the Star Wars: The Old Republic development team will be handing out a pet – the “M4-Y10” astromech droid – from May 4th to 11th. The Little Imp is the mini version of the droid from the animated series “The Bad Batch” and players can pick up their robot friend in SWTOR for a week as a login reward. All SWTOR fans can also look forward to a double EP event that will give you an extra helping of experience points for two weeks.
Here is the original message from the developers about Star Wars Day:
On the occasion of Star Wars Day, we’re giving all our players in a galaxy far, far away the M4-Y10 astromech droid mini-pet as a little treat! The identifier of this astromech refers to the tenth birthday of The Old Republic in December of this year. The look of the M4-Y10 is based on the series The Bad Batch! Simply register with The Old Republic between May 4th and May 11th and your own astromech mini-pet will be waiting for you in your in-game mailbox.
In addition to the mini-pet, players receive two other advantages: Firstly, we are holding a collection activation sale for one week (at the same time as the Astromech registration reward). On the other hand, the double EP event is active for a full two weeks! Have you always wanted to improve this neglected character? Well, get it off the shelf and get ready for the May 4th party!
Celebrate May 4th with us and may the Force always be with you!
