The rumor mill around the open-world action adventure Ghost of Tsushima is simmering again. The game, which was previously available exclusively for the PS4, could also appear for the PS5 in the foreseeable future. A corresponding note could be found, at least for a short time, in the LinkedIn profile of Cinematic Creative Director Dave Molloy.
He works at the development studio Sucker Punch and let it be known in his profile that he was working on Ghost of Tsushima (buy now € 64.33 ) would work for the PS5. However, this passage disappeared from his résumé a little later. Either it was just an incorrect statement or this information was not (yet) intended for the public. So far, Sucker Punch or Sony Interactive Entertainment have not mentioned a possible port of the action adventure for the PlayStation 5. Due to the great success, a release for Sony's next-gen console would not be surprising.

Incidentally, this is not the first Ghost of Tsushima rumor in the recent past. We had only recently reported that the first hint of a possible successor to the action adventure had surfaced. Back then, a job posting from Sucker Punch was the source. We were looking for an employee who "should have played Ghost of Tsushima and understand its basic combat system". Or are the two clues linked? Is it possible that Dave Molloy is not working on a PS5 port of the game, but on a successor that will be released for the PS5? So far there is no comment or confirmation, but of course we will keep you up to date.
