Streaming giant Netflix recently announced that Tomb Raider is getting its own anime. Lara Croft completely different?

Tomb Raider: Coming soon as an anime on Netflix

Lara Croft's looks have gone through a huge evolution over the past few decades, and now Tomb Raider fans may experience a whole new side of the protagonist as Netflix recently announced a new anime series.

According to Polygon the franchise's newest project is featured in an official press release as an animeContinuation of the latest reboot video game trilogy described. As usual, Lara Croft forms the centerpiece here as well as she embarks on the search for new, more exciting and more dangerous adventures in the world.

The series is from Tasha Huo both written and produced. Huo's schedule is pretty busy right now as she's also working on The Witcher: Blood Origin, a live-action spin-off of the popular fantasy series.

Netflix: More Anime in 2021

The Witcher should also be there this year The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf another anime adaptation received. The streaming service published the official logo at the end of last year.

If that's still not enough anime for you, you can probably expect one in 2021 as well SpinOff from Kong: Skull Island look forward to, like Netflix announced yesterday. The series, called Skull Island, will follow a few characters who are shipwrecked on Kong's Island and attempt to survive the prehistoric horrors they encounter there.
