MMORPG's The Elder Scrolls Online add-on Greymoor should have been released on June 9th for PS4 and Xbox One. Now it has been postponed for a short time.

After a not so successful launch on PC, the add-on Greymoor of the MMORPG should The Elder Scrolls Online actually appear on June 9th for PS4 and Xbox One. But now there is a slight delay.

Zenimax considers the release to be inappropriate

On June 9th, the funeral of George Floyd, who was killed in Minneapolis, Minnesota on May 25th, when a policeman knelt on his neck for nearly nine minutes during the arrest of the man, took place at the Houston Memorial Gardens in Pearland, Texas, whereby George Floyd could no longer breathe properly and eventually died.

Zenimax Online now explained that the release of the ESO add-on Greymoor scheduled for the same day is now being postponed out of respect for the burial of the man.

The statement on the MMORPG's official website states: "We are delaying the release of Greymoor for Playstation 4 and Xbox One by one day out of respect for George Floyd and his funeral in Houston on June 9th. We believe that it would be inappropriate for us to celebrate the release and distract us from more important events that day. "

The Elder Scrolls Online: Greymoor expansion released

The maintenance work for the update starts on Wednesday, June 10, at 4 a.m. German time. They are expected to last seven hours. The servers would then have to open again around 11 a.m. If nothing goes wrong, PS4 and Xbox One players can then travel to the western edge of the sky in The Elder Scrolls Online and face the invasion of a sinister vampire prince.

The PC version was plagued by some issues at release on May 26th, which resulted in several maintenance tasks the following day. These issues have now been resolved, which should make Greymoor's release on PS4 and Xbox One work better.
