The Valve team has a new one Update for Half-Life: Alyx released. From now on, fans can listen to the developer comments while they are out and about in the game world. A total of 147 different locations have been provided with comments that give you a look behind the scenes of the development of Half-Life: Alyx. The update should actually be available in March, but the pandemic has caused delays in admission.
The makers recorded over three hours of material. In the game, you can find the comments using a small headset that is placed over various objects. Because Half-Life: Alyx is a VR title, you can just grab this headset and put it on your own head. The sound track is then started. It's not the first time Valve has implemented extensive developer comments in a game, by the way. Titles like Half-Life 2, Portal 2 or the Left 4 Dead series have also received this feature. You can find our test of Half-Life: Alyx in the video below the message.
