Only recently came the rumor that work on the Xbox One version of the first-person shooter Halo Infinite has allegedly been stopped. A corresponding indication of this was provided by the LinkedIn profile of a designer who is currently working on the action game at developer studio 343 Industries. There the entry "Xbox One" suddenly disappeared, which logically brought the rumor mill to a boil. But apparently there is nothing in the matter.
A little later, John Junyszek, one of the community managers at 343 Industries, spoke up via Twitter to comment on the speculation. When asked by a follower whether the rumor about the discontinued Xbox One version of Halo Infinite (buy now ) That's right, he replied just as briefly as he was a little annoyed:
"No. Please let me enjoy the holidays."
Accordingly, 343 Industries is still working on a version of Halo Infinite for the Xbox One. Incidentally, it was not the first time that John Junyszek had to get rid of such a rumor. Similar speculation arose in August of this year, which only had to be nipped in the bud a little later. Even then, he explained that fans shouldn't believe everything they read about the next Halo episode on the Internet.
However, the community manager did not provide any further details. It is still not known when exactly the release of Halo: Infinite can be expected. It should be so far at an unspecified date in autumn 2021.
