The final fantasy 7 remake will officially be released on Playstation 4 on April 10, and even though this first episode of the new edition only reproduces part of the content of the original from 1997, it should still be a full-fledged gaming experience – including endgame . In this message we tell you what we know about Hard Mode, "New Game Plus" mode and the level cap.

In a few days the time has finally come! On April 10th, the final fantasy 7 remake will officially appear on Playstation 4 (even if various players can already gamble). And although this is a first episode that only depicts part of the content of the original from 1997, it should still be a full-fledged gaming experience – with sufficient scope and its own endgame. Below we tell you what you need to know about Hard Mode, "New Game Plus" mode and the level cap.

  • In Final Fantasy 7 Remake you collect experience points and progressively level up. The maximum limit for your character's level is level 50. From this moment on you can no longer increase your hero's stats by leveling up. What is still going on: Level activated materia and improve the weapons with special manuscripts that you can find all over the world.
  • As soon as you have played through Final Fantasy 7 Remake, you unlock the hard mode and a chapter selection. In this way you can then start the first chapter of the game with activated hard mode and from then on play through the game again at a higher level of difficulty. You take your character progress gained in the first pass with you.
  • In hard mode, the opponents are not only heavier, they also give you more experience, so it won't take too long until you reach the maximum level 50.
  • Of course, you can also use the chapter selection to tackle, for example, the challenges in the Colosseum or in the VR arenas that you did not master during the first run. There are also new VR fights in a special "Shinra HQ VR Suite" if you start Chapter 17 again. In addition, you can experience further story branches via the chapter selection.
