Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice was one of the best and most interesting games of 2017, which we didn’t really expect to be continued. After developer Ninja Theory was bought up by Microsoft, it shouldn't come as a surprise to us: Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 crawled with a goosebumps-like trailer at the Game Awards, and that is the flagship for the new Xbox.
There are loads of questions floating around like Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 like fireflies – everyone first: Will Hellblade 2 crawl onto the market exclusively for the new Xbox? And is called the new Xbox for real Xbox Series X? Why is it called Xbox Series X? But well, we could at least agree on one thing today: The short teaser for Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 not only looks beautiful and creepy, but is also extremely promising in all other respects:
I didn't promise too much, did I? Unfortunately, we do not yet know much about Senua's next trip, apart from those chunks of setting that the teaser confirms: You will in all likelihood slip back into Senua's form and cheerfully slaughter your way through the grim world of the Vikings with their psychotic spirit. You can find out why the journey into the underworld of Senua's spirit inspired us in the first part, in our Hellblade test: Senua’s Sacrifice read.
Or else, you get yourself the game on the PS4 for a current 14.99 euros just immediately – Back then there was no mention of Xbox exclusivity.
We dare to doubt that the second part will also crawl onto the PlayStation: Hellblade 2 was presented as a figurehead for the new Xbox Series X and with Microsoft as patron of developer Ninja Theory, nothing stands in the way of Xbox exclusivity (unfortunately?). However, there are good chances for a release on the PC.
