Are you as tired of the icon chaos on the edge of your minimap in World of Warcraft as we are? Then we are now presenting a solution to this problem in the form of a useful add-on: HidingBar.

Do you know the problem? You have installed a whole range of add-ons for your WoW character, just like a professional gamer does – but unfortunately all the configuration icons for these add-ons are stacked on the edge of your minimap. There are hardly any gaps, maybe the icons are already on top of each other and arguing about a place in the sun. If you don’t feel like constantly entering the corresponding command in the chat or calling up the add-on menu to open the configuration of the respective tools, you may be stupid. That’s why we’re now introducing you to a small but nice add-on that will help you to unravel the chaos at the edge of your minimap.

Finally order for the minimap icons

Admittedly, it seems a bit strange to try to fix the addon icon mess with another addon, but it really works – I promise. The addon HidingBar namely ensures that you can summarize the icons of your addons in a separate small box. You have the option to configure this box in a number of ways, including:

  • Position and size
  • Alignment (horizontal or vertical display of the buttons)
  • Visibility (on mouseover, click or permanent)

You can also put individual buttons on a separate ignore list so that they do not appear in the icon box. The HidingBar menu looks like this:

WoW: HidingBar cleans up your minimap buttons (addon tip) (1)

Source: Buffed

WoW: HidingBar cleans up your minimap buttons (add-on tip) (2)

WoW: HidingBar cleans up your minimap buttons (addon tip) (3)

By the way, HidingBar is based on the add-on Norganna’s Slidebar and also works in combination with ELFUI and TUKUI. It also supports Masque skins. You can download HidingBar for free from Curseforge. The installation is carried out as usual by simply placing the two downloaded addon folders in your respective WoW (buy now 14,99 € )-Directory moved (World of Warcraft -> _retail_ -> Interface -> Addons). You then open the addon via the chat with the command “/ hidingbar”.

We hope you enjoy trying out and configuring.
