Injustice 3: Teaser could indicate a new offshoot of the fighting game – Gamesaktuell

from Dominik Zwingmann
Could the NetherRealm Studios team be preparing the Injustice 3 announcement right now? Artist BossLogic shared a teaser on Twitter showing the logo of a supposed successor. A unveiling is conceivable as part of the DC FanDome, which takes place in a few weeks. Ed Boon of NetherRealm Studios is also one of the guests at the event.

Artist BossLogic posted an image on Twitter that could be viewed as a teaser for Injustice 3. Nikolai Baslajik (the man behind BossLogic) was most recently responsible for the official artwork for Assassin's Creed Valhalla. His current work on Twitter now shows a logo for an alleged Injustice 3. Creative Director Ed Boon of NetherRealm Studios has also been marked. You can find the tweet here below.

In 2013 and 2017, Injustice: Gods Among Us and Injustice 2, two titles in the fighting game series, were released in stores. The fighters are basically well-known characters from the DC Universe. But there have also been guest appearances in recent years. The BossLogic picture also shows a clock in the background, which fans consider to be a reference to the Watchmen sequel Doomsday Clock. So if there really is a third part of Injustice, characters from the Watchmen universe could also make their debut.

A unveiling as part of the DC FanDome on August 22nd, 2020 would be conceivable. This event will feature numerous innovations from the DC universe. Lots of stars have also been revealed in a list of participants. This very long list also includes Ed Boon and BossLogic. Details about her appearance at the DC FanDome are currently not available. We will keep you up to date.
