As part of CES 2020, director James Cameron released new concept arts for Avatar 2. This gives fans a glimpse of the world of the upcoming movie. In this context, Mercedes Benz also presented a concept vehicle called "Vision AVTR". In December 2021, Disney will release the sequel in cinemas worldwide. Three more films are planned by 2027.
Director James Cameron paid a visit to CES 2020 in Las Vegas and shared several concept arts for the upcoming Avatar 2 with the fans. The sequel to the original from 2009 is to be shown in German cinemas from December 16, 2021. We have made the pictures available to you in the gallery below.

The Concept Arts of Avatar 2 were also presented at the Daimler conference at CES. In cooperation with Mercedes Benz, the prototype of a vehicle was unveiled, the inspiration of which comes from the world of the Avatar universe. The model bears the name "Vision AVTR" and was described by those responsible as "a completely new interaction between man, machine and nature". You can see a picture of the vehicle below.

James Cameron has not revealed whether the Vision AVTR will also play a role in Avatar 2. The abbreviation "AVTR" stands for Avatar and "Advanced Vehicle TRansformation". Cinema visitors can generally look forward to more vehicles and machines in the sequel, as the director enthusiastically told on stage. In the coming years, after the Fox takeover, Disney has plans for the Avatar franchise. The releases of Avatar 3-5 are planned for December 2023, 2025 and 2027. James Cameron recently spoke about the current status of upcoming films.
