THQ Nordic has released the first trailer for Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning. The new edition of the title from 2012 will be released in September 2020 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Among other things, fans can look forward to an improved look and revised gameplay. In addition, THQ Nordic would like to present an expansion for Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning next year. The DLCs of that time are already included in the remaster.

THQ Nordic has now officially confirmed the new edition of Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning. Barely a month after the leak in the Microsoft Store, the title from 2012 will be released on September 8, 2020 with many improvements for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and the PC. Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-reckoning will not only offer nicer graphics, but also reworked gameplay. To announce, publisher THQ Nordic has also released a brand new CGI trailer.

The team still has plans for Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning. After the release in September 2020, a new expansion called Fatesworn will appear for the game next year. This even extends the title with additional content over nine years after its first publication.

Some screenshots can also be viewed on the website of the new edition. According to the information there, Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning will also offer all DLCs of the original. The Kaiko team, which has recently worked on the remaster of the first two Darksiders games, is responsible for the development of the new edition. Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning was given decent ratings by the press at the time. However, there was no financial success. Now the new edition should give the game another chance.
