The announcement should actually be made at a later date.

When Big Huge Games and 38 studios released the action role-playing game Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning in February 2012, the feedback from the press and players was consistently positive: the combat system is fun, the world is charming, the character development is motivating and the scope is right .

Unfortunately, the game was not a financial success. In fact, those responsible were in the red, 38 studios had to be closed, the brand came under the hammer. Ultimately they ended up Rights to Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning at THQ Nordic. And what happens to the brand now?

A surprising answer came recently new page in the Microsoft Store, on which a remastered version of Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning (buy now for € 23.65) is advertised. This should already appear on August 18, 2020, developed by Kaiko (were already responsible for the porting of the Darksiders Warmastered Edition and the Darksiders II Deathinitive Edition) and appear visually much more modern.

At that time, however, there was no official announcement from THQ Nordic. And opposite the gamepro The publisher then also confirmed that the information shouldn't actually go out yet. One hopes, however, that fans would still look forward to playing Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning in the summer.
