The team behind L.A. Noire: The VR Case Files is currently working with Rockstar Games on another ambitious AAA VR title. But there are not many details about the game yet. The "groundbreaking" VR title is said to offer an open world. We do not yet know whether the studio will again use a well-known brand of Rockstar Games.
The people in charge of Rockstar Games have commissioned the Video Games Deluxe team with another VR game. In 2018, the studio was responsible for the development of L.A. Noire: The VR Case Files. It has now been revealed via LinkedIn that the team from Sydney is looking for additional employees for an AAA VR project. Many details come from the description but not yet.
According to Video Games Deluxe, it is a "groundbreaking" project that is currently being developed in cooperation with Rockstar. It also seems to be an ambitious open world title. It is unclear whether the studio will again rely on a well-known brand of Rockstar Games here – as was the case with L.A. Noire: The VR Case Files. The developer's portfolio would provide enough candidates for this.
A VR project on Grand Theft Auto, Red Dead Redemption or Bully would definitely attract attention. With Valve, Half-Life: Alyx has also recently released a new part of the famous series exclusively for VR. We do not yet know when we will receive initial information about the new Video Games Deluxe project. Rockstar Games has also not yet commented on the VR topic.
In addition, fans are still waiting patiently for news about Grand Theft Auto 6. Although rumors about the game have repeatedly surfaced recently, there are no tangible details. However, since the PS5 reveal a few weeks ago, it has been clear that Grand Theft Auto 5 will also appear on the next-gen consoles.
