Sony and Counterplay Games have published the official launch trailer for the action role-playing game Godfall, which of course we don't want to withhold from you.
In the video you can expect a mix of gameplay scenes and cutscenes, which among other things should get you in the mood for the general story of the game. In addition, you not only get to know some of the most important characters, but also get a little foretaste of the dynamic and effective fights.
Incidentally, the trailer reveals another very interesting detail: At the end of the video you can briefly see that the PS5 exclusivity from Godfall (buy now 37.95 € ) is limited to half a year. According to the information written in small letters, this restriction ends on May 12, 2021. From this day, the action adventure from Counterplay Games could also appear on other consoles – such as the Xbox Series X. So far, however, the developers have not signed up to one possible porting. The only thing that is certain is that the game will also be released for the PC, as the exclusivity is only limited to the console release.
By the way, the DualSense controller plays an important role in the PS5 version of Godfall. It should always give you the most intense haptic feedback possible – not only during combat, but also when exploring the various locations. The adaptive trigger of the controller is mainly used here: a quick stab with the help of a polearm therefore requires less force to trigger than a swing with a giant two-hand hammer. You should therefore feel exactly whether you are operating with a light or a heavy weapon.
The release of Godfall is planned for November 19, 2020 in Germany – just in time for the European launch of the PlayStation 5. The action role-playing game always requires an active internet connection, otherwise you won't be able to jump into the fights.
