Valve will soon release a new update for Left 4 Dead 2. The new content comes entirely from the community. The makers would like to announce more details about "The Last Stand" shortly. There is currently no date for the update.
Almost eleven years after the release of Left 4 Dead 2, the team at Valve will release a new update for the title. The content does not come from Valve itself, but from the community of the cooperative zombie shooter. It's not the first time the development studio has released new community content for Left 4 Dead 2 as an official update. A short teaser on The Last Stand was also shared.
"It has been many years since the infection first hit. Radio silence, no sign of life, nothing but lingering hopes … CEDA is not going to save us. But there is hope! A few brave souls have continued the fight against all odds, and soon we can all benefit from their resilience. "
The creators would like to reveal shortly which new content will come into play with the update. There is no date for the update yet. At the beginning of the year there were more rumors about a direct successor to Left 4 Dead 2. The makers of Valve have already clearly denied this.
