Marvel and Disney have launched Loki brought forward by two days. This means that the first episode of the MCU series with actor Tom Hiddleston in the title role will be available from June 9, 2021 on Disney Plus.

Previously, June 11, 2021 was planned as the start of the season. For Loki, Marvel will keep the weekly release of new episodes on Wednesday. The first season comprises a total of six episodes. The final can then be seen on July 14, 2021. Tom Hiddleston spoke up personally to reveal the new MCU series date.

Disney didn’t give a specific reason for the change of plan, but it may have something to do with Black Widow and Star Wars: The Bad Batch. On Tuesday, the new sci-fi series started at Disney Plus, the episodes of which will appear every Friday in the future. Originally, the day before the weekend always belonged to Marvel, who have published new episodes of WandaVision and The Falcon and The Winter Soldier here in the last few months.
