Nintendo lets hope blossom: A trademark renewal refers to two particularly popular games.
Is the first Pokémon remake for Switch coming soon?
During Game Freak, probably still at full speed on the second DLC for Pokémon Sword and Shield, The Snowy Lands of the Crown is making new rumors about a remake for the Nintendo Switch. So holds gamerant tight, that Nintendo renewed the trademark for Pokémon HeartGold and Pokémon SoulSilver a few days ago. The two remakes of Pokémon Gold and Silver already appeared on the Nintendo DS in 2010, but rumors could now as well soon to receive a port for the hybrid console.
Since the recently released Super Mario 3D All-Stars is a mere port of the games it contains, it is not too absurd to think that Nintendo is trying to continue to drive this track. The very fact that it is a DS title could stand in the way of easy porting. After all, the Switch only has one instead of two screens.
Instead, Game Freak could just decide to do something like Pokémon: Let's Go Pikachu and Eevee with the second edition. At least it could convince many Pokémon fans despite its reduced difficulty. In the worst case, however, this is only a purely routine renewal of the names.
