DICE postpones the new Star Wars Battlefront 2 update. As the developers say in a recent Reddit thread, the release has to be postponed to mid-April. DICE cites the move to the home office as the reason. As a result of the Corona crisis, developers are temporarily working from home. Work on Star Wars Battlefront 2 is still expected to continue. However, delays can be expected. In addition, the move from the office to the home office entails some changes in the work processes. More details on the Battle on Scarif update for Battlefront 2 will follow soon.

DICE turns to the community – and postpones the Battle on Scarif update for Star Wars Battlefront 2. As the developers say in a recent Reddit thread, the release will be postponed to mid-April 2020. The developers also provide one reason: as a result of the Corona crisis, they recently moved to their home office and are temporarily working from home. The health and well-being of the team should be protected as best as possible. However, the move to the home office also resulted in adjustments to the work processes. The processes are currently being optimized.

The release of the new update for Star Wars Battlefront 2, planned for mid-April, appears to be completely dry (buy now for 21.64 €) but not to be. Because the requirements could change constantly, the developers would like to keep further adjustments open. They want to keep the players up to date via the known channels. With the upcoming update, DICE wants to introduce Supremacy for Age of Rebellion, for example. You return to the tropical planet Scarif – and identify some locations from Age of Rebellion. Updates for instant action are also promised. Furthermore, both co-op and heroes get vs. Rogues additional locations. At the same time, DICE can confirm that there will be new hero and villain appearances. You can find more information on Reddit.com.
