Actually, it was thought that the story of Chris Evans in his famous role as Captain America after Avengers: Endgame was told to the end. But now the insiders from Deadline report that the actor may return after all. According to initial information, Chris Evans will appear in at least one Marvel project as Steve Rogers. The deal is said to have not yet been signed.
According to the report, the door is also open for another movie. This is more about a role for Chris Evans as Captain America, which is similar to the performances of Robert Downey Jr. after Iron Man 3. An example is the supporting role in Spider-Man: Homecoming, in which Tony Stark is seen as a mentor to Peter Parker. Marvel Studios has not yet issued a statement on the subject. Instead, Chris Evans has already reported on Twitter and initially denied any rumors about his comeback. We have included the tweet here below.
Incidentally, the fourth phase of the MCU starts today on Disney + WandaVision. The first two episodes can now be seen on the streaming platform. Then there is another episode every week. Also planned for 2021 are Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Loki and the movies Black Widow, The Eternals and Spider-Man 3. There could also be several comebacks at the finale of the trilogy. According to rumors, Andrew Garfield and Toby Maguire are expected to return and create a true Spiderverse alongside Tom Holland.
