Marvel's Avengers: next-gen version not until 2021
Marvel's Avengers for PS5, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S will no longer be released this year. Crystal Dynamics has postponed the release until next year. Kate Bishop's release has also been delayed. The archer should continue to appear in 2020. Thanks to downward compatibility, the title can also be played on the new hardware at the launch of the next-gen consoles.
The Crystal Dynamics team has announced new information on the future of Marvel's Avengers. Accordingly, fans now have to wait a little longer for the release of Kate Bishop as a playable heroine in the game. Originally, the operation with the archer was supposed to land in Marvel's Avengers in October. The release is still planned for this year. Hawkeye will also be part of this operation and will be part of the hero selection of the title a little later – more details coming soon.
But not only with Kate Bishop there will be a delay. Crystal Dynamics has made the decision to postpone the release of Marvel's Avengers for PS5, Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S until 2021. The revised next-gen version should also be available this year – as a single version in stores and as a free upgrade for existing players. Now patience is also required here.
Thanks to backward compatibility, you can still play Marvel's Avengers on the new hardware without any problems. Your saved data will also be transferred. In addition, next-gen gamers already benefit from faster loading times and a better frame rate. As a thank you to all fans, the team is also giving away a small package in the game until November 5th. This contains 1,500 credits, 7,500 units, 250 upgrade modules and 20 DNA keys. There will also be new areas, enemies and more in Marvel's Avengers in the coming months (buy now € 55.99 ) on.

For this reason we turn to you now. You can support us as a PC Games supporter so that we can continue to offer our content in the usual form free of charge without introducing a paywall or publishing clickbait news like "And you won't believe what happened next …" .
