Marvel's Avengers: Second Beta Test Today on PC, PS4, Xbox One – Games Up-to-Date
Marvel's Avengers starts its second beta weekend today. While the title switches to an open beta on PS4, pre-orderers of the versions for PC and Xbox One now have access to the game for the first time. There are no changes compared to the previous week. All interested parties can take part in the open beta next weekend.
This weekend, Square Enix and the team at Crystal Dynamics will host the next beta of Marvel's Avengers. This time, however, even more players will have direct access to the test. After the beta last weekend was only intended for pre-orderers of the PS4 version, all pre-orderers for PC and Xbox One can now slip into the role of superheroes. On the PS4, the test switches to an open beta. This means that all users can try out the title.
However, nothing has changed in the scope of the beta. Several single player missions and co-op missions will still be available. In the beta you have the chance to take a detailed look at Iron Man, Ms. Marvel, Hulk and Thor. In the mission at the beginning of the beta you will also briefly be able to take control of Captain America and Black Widow. If you played the beta last weekend, you can pick up where you left off today. However, before the launch of Marvel's Avengers, this progress will be deleted again. Beta participation rewards have also been confirmed.
From August 21, 2020 there will be another test for the game. The title will then be available as an open beta on all platforms. The release of Marvel's Avengers is not too far away either. The game will be released on September 4, 2020 for PC, PS4, Xbox One and Google Stadia. A free upgrade for PS5 and Xbox Series X is planned in the coming months.
