Is there a remake of the action adventure Metal Gear Solid for the PS5 soon? At least there is now a reference to it again. It was discovered by some players in the recently released remake of Demon's Souls for the PlayStation 5. In the so-called Nexus, a strange noise can suddenly be heard in the background that initially caused confusion. A little later, however, the first fans realized that they had heard this sound somewhere – in Metal Gear Solid.
As stated by several users on Twitter, this sound is almost identical in the Metal Gear Solid Liquid Boss fight (buy now € 14.55 ) to listen. But why did the developers at Bluepoint Games incorporate this sound into the PS5 remake of Demon's Souls? It could be an Easter egg without a specific background. However, some fans are now speculating that there could be more to it. After all, Bluepoint Games is known as an expert in remakes. In addition to Demon's Souls, they also brought the new editions of Shadow of the Colossus and Gravity Rush onto the market. Besides, the team had published a mysterious tweet last year, in which the two words "solid" and "metal" could be found. Coincidence or intent?

The fact is that this is not the first rumor surrounding a possible PS5 remake of Metal Gear Solid. As early as September of this year there was speculation about a new edition of the classic for the PlayStation 5. Who would be better suited for such a project than the remake experts from Bluepoint Games? However, so far there has been neither a statement from the studio nor from Sony. We will keep you up to date.
