Soon you will be able to buy the Metro Exodus shooter again on Steam and play it on Valve's platform. It's actually been a full year since the Epic Games Store released.

Metro Exodus the dubious "honor" was given to usher in the "war between Steam and the Epic Games Store". Shortly before the release in February of last year, the game was removed from Steam and should then appear exclusively through the Epic Games Store for one year. This year is soon over and the Steam release is pending.

Those who have been waiting can play on Steam soon

Like via the Metro Exodus Twitter account (buy now) can be read, the shooter will be released on February 15th at 6 a.m. via Steam. If you didn't get the game from the Epic Games Store, but wanted to wait for the Steam release, then you only have to wait a few days. Just a few days before, on February 11th, the new DLC "Sam's Story" will be released.

Despite all the criticism, Metro Exodus did quite well due to the surprising switch from Steam to the Epic Games Store and also received very good ratings. If you want to learn more about the shooter shortly before the release on Steam, then read our test.
