Microsoft has completed the purchase of Bethesda for $ 7.5 billion. Now players are waiting for upcoming titles like Starfield and The Elder Scrolls 6 to be discussed. Maybe it will be ready in summer.

Are we getting to see new Bethesda games this summer?

During a live stream, employees of both companies talked about the fact that there will be an event in the summer in which upgrades of older Bethesda games for the current console generation – i.e. Xbox Series X / S – will be discussed. Xbox Games Marketing Director Aaron Greenberg said a number of Bethesda's games are getting performance boosts. More should be revealed in the summer. When exactly has not yet been mentioned.

It is not clear whether the upcoming games will also be discussed. It is possible that Bethesda and Microsoft will also be addressing The Elder Scrolls 6 and Starfield during the event. With Starfield in particular, it would be time to show something. But it could also be that Microsoft is using another event to talk about the future games from Bethesda. Apparently the next one is planned for March 26th. At this event, players should get a preview of the titles for Xbox Series X / S and Xbox One, which will be released later this year. If Starfield is planned for 2021, it could well be presented during the event.

That we find out something in the coming months would make sense because Bethesda usually announces new games about six months before the release and they usually appear in November.
