A new update for Microsoft Flight Simulator for PC and Xbox Series X is available for download today. As the developers say on their website, the hotfix is based on feedback from players who reported game crashes after the Sim Update 5, among other things. For example, Asobo Studio wants to iron out crashes in connection with the world map. The patch notes also indicate that the update addresses the causes of crashes in offline AI traffic. In addition, Microsoft Flight Simulator should no longer refuse service when you connect or disconnect peripherals.

In addition, the developers tackle individual problems with navigation. This is how they apply a fix for incorrect flight plans on Garmin devices. Microsoft Flight Simulator (buy now € 69.99) no longer crash when you determine a new destination while the flight assistant is active. There are also optimizations in the user interface, gameplay and aircraft. Especially with the Welter, there should no longer be sudden changes in temperature at high altitudes.

You can find the full patch notes on the Developer website under this link. A time for the patch release has already been set: The hotfix will be available as a download from 5 p.m. today. The patch follows the big one Sim-Update 5, which has been available since this week. MS Flight Simulator has also been taking off on Xbox Series X / S since July 27th.
