Update 5 for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 has been postponed. Like the developers in a current Entry on their website report, they encountered autopilot issues on individual aircraft shortly before the patch was released. "We have therefore decided to take a little extra time," said Asobo Studio. The developers want to make sure that the patch works smoothly – and that every player has fun with it.
Asobo Studio does not name a new date for Update 5 of Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020. However, they note in the blog entry that it will probably take a few additional days to finally be able to release Update 5 as a download. As soon as we get more information about this, you will find out as usual on our website. It is best to keep an eye on our news section. As emerged from a roadmap, the patch was initially planned for a release on October 27th.
It is not yet known which changes and innovations the update for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 will bring: the developers did not publish patch notes at first. The changelog with all information about the new patch should be submitted around the release of the update. Preparations for the VR version of the flight simulator are also currently underway. This week the developers want to send out the first invitations for the VR beta.
