Microsoft interested in features of the PS5 controller
Microsoft is currently conducting a survey among gamers on Xbox Series X – apparently not just wanting to find out how the user experience can be improved. As the Techradar.com website reports, one question in the survey is specifically dedicated to the new features of the PS5's DualSense controller. Microsoft wants to find out from the users whether they want the haptic functions that the new gamepad for PlayStation 5 offers for the Xbox controller.
Most recently, Xbox boss Phil Spencer was impressed by the possibilities that the DualSense opens up through haptic feedback and adaptive triggers. So far, we can only speculate whether Microsoft will equip future Xbox controllers with haptic feedback. However, it does not seem to be entirely ruled out. It is possible that the publisher will integrate such functions in future models of the elite controller, for example Website wccftech.com.
The future will tell whether these assumptions will come true. We will keep you up to date in our news area. You can read how well the haptic feedback of the DualSense controller works in our review of the PS5. An ideal example to illustrate the new gamepad functions is Astro's Playroom, which is preinstalled on every PlayStation 5. We have included a video on this below.
We give all readers daily free news, articles, guides, videos and podcasts on their favorite games. So far we have financed this site through advertising and kept it as free of clickbaits or paid items as possible, but since COVID-19 this has become increasingly difficult. Many companies are cutting or cutting their advertising budgets for 2020. Budgets that we unfortunately have to rely on if we want to continue to offer PC games free of charge as usual in the future.
For this reason we turn to you now. As a PC Games supporter, you can support us so that we can continue to offer our content in the usual form for free without introducing a paywall or publishing clickbait news like "And you won't believe what happened next …" . Every contribution, large or small, is valuable.
