Nvidia officials have released several Minecraft screenshots that give players an excellent view of the title's new ray tracing effects. The Microsoft team is currently working on an extensive update for the block game that will integrate official RTX support. The development of the new function was already confirmed at Gamescom 2019 in Cologne. The first testers already have access to an early version.
It is still unclear when the update will appear for all players. The pictures quickly show what influence the additional lighting effects have on Minecraft's graphics.
