The action RPG for the faint of heart, Minecraft Dungeons, has been available exclusively through the Minecraft store since its release in 2020. Now the title has finally been available on Steam since September 22, 2021. Simultaneously with the Steam release, the Ultimate Edition of Minecraft Dungeons was also released, which includes both the base game and all six DLCs, The Jungle Awakens, Creeping Winter, Howling Peaks, Flames of the Nether, Hidden Depths, and Echoing Void. There is also the soundtrack and some digital artwork for the game.

Minecraft Dungeons (buy now ) takes place in the same world as Mojang’s popular sandbox game. Although they are two completely different games, the history of the two titles also overlaps. So you have to defeat the evil ore illager in Minecraft Dungeons and save the world. In the game you can go on a monster hunt with up to three friends and since November last year cross-play between the versions for the PC, the Nintendo Switch, the PlayStation 4, and the Xbox One has been possible.

In our test, we definitely had fun with the title and the various new DLCs have probably only made Minecraft Dungeons even better. The ultimate edition for the game currently costs 19.99 euros on Steam. At this price, the action RPG becomes tastier.

In other Minecraft news recently, Windows Central reported that Mojang is currently working on at least two new Minecraft titles. So now is the perfect time to delve deeper into the Minecraft universe.
