The MMORPG Phantasy Star Online 2 was surprisingly announced for the West at E3 2019 – but only for Windows 10 PCs and Xbox One. The manual, which can already be viewed on the official website, also speaks of Steam.
The announcement of the MMORPG Phantasy Star Online 2 at E3 2019 was a big surprise. The online game started in Japan in 2012 and hardly anyone expected a release in the west. But Microsoft is releasing the game this year, at least in the United States. PSO 2 has been announced for Xbox One and Windows 10 PCs so far, but apparently it also appears on Steam.
Manual with steam instructions
The manual of Phantasy Star Online 2, which you can already see on the official website, explains how to start the game on the individual platforms and there is also how you do it via Steam. You can read that you should open the Steam client, look for the entry for Phantasy Star Online 2 in the library and then press Play. Or you can use the icon that was created on the desktop.
This is a pretty clear indication that we can also play Phantasy Star Online 2 on Steam, and it can't just be downloaded from the Windows Store. However, it is not yet clear when we can play the MMORPG in this country, as it has only been confirmed for the USA. The developers recently ruled out a region lock.
