Monster Hunter Rise is coming to Nintendo Switch on March 26, 2021. Surprisingly, the developers announced a PC version in an interview. As the publisher Capcom revealed in an interview with Destructoid magazine, Monster Hunter Rise is said to be (buy now € 59.99 ) also appear for the PC.

Corresponding signs of this were already there last year, but only now is the first-hand confirmation. However, you have to be patient in this regard, because the PC release is planned for the beginning of 2022 at the earliest. Accordingly, the Switch owners among you have at least eight months to exclusively go on the monster hunt. In addition, Capcom has not yet revealed any further details about the PC version: Accordingly, it is not known whether and which additional graphic features or new content await you. Among other things, a higher resolution, improved textures and an adjustable frame rate would be conceivable. However, that is likely to change in the course of the next few months – the closer the targeted release gets.

Fittingly: Monster Hunter Rise in the preview of PC Games

In principle, this announcement is hardly surprising, because the PC version of Monster Hunter World was already very successful. This, too, came onto the market a few months after the console version, but still attracted numerous players. Capcom thinks this approach could work well with Monster Hunter Rise as well. We will know more about this by next year at the latest.
