More than just Disney +: The Mandalorian should expand
After the successful season of "The Mandalorian" on Disney +, those responsible at Disney have big plans with the eponymous bounty hunter. In addition to the already confirmed seasons 2 and 3 of the live action series, several books and comics are also to be published.
The first season of The Mandalorian hit Disney + like a rebel blaster on the armor of a stormtrooper soldier. It was quickly confirmed that the second season already in autumn 2020 should appear, and a third season has already been approved.
But apparently it shouldn't stop there. On the official Star Wars website Disney officials announced that they wanted to expand the universe of the eponymous bounty hunter with books and comics for all ages. These should appear from autumn to spring 2021.
Here is the list of the planned books:
- The Art of The Mandalorian (Season One) by Phil Szostak and Doug Chiang
- The Mandalorian: Original Novel by Adam Christopher
- The Mandalorian: The Ultimate Visual Guide by Pablo Hidalgo
- The Mandalorian: Allies & Enemies – Level Two Reader by Brooke Vitale
- The Mandalorian: 8×8 storybook (Working title) by Brooke Vitale
- The Mandalorian: Junior Novelization by Joe Schreiber
In addition, Marvel and IDW Publishing will publish Mandalorian comics, the stories and drawings should come from different companies.
