Publisher Activision has announced that the Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War beta was the most successful test phase in the history of the series. No beta has been downloaded more often than the upcoming spin-off. However, those responsible have not revealed the exact figures. So far, the beta of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare from last year was the most successful test of the shooter. The Open Beta ended on October 20th, one day later than originally planned. The release of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is also in the starting blocks. The title will be available in stores on November 13, 2020 for PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and PS4. The shooter will also be available for the launch of the PS5 on November 19th.
