MOTHER now also sells cape upgrades
Echoes from Ny'alotha are becoming the most important currency in WoW Patch 8.3. In addition to missing essences and the desired corruption effects, you can now also use them to get any missing enhancements to your legendary cloak. Blizzard made this possible with a short-term hotfix.
The recently introduced Echoes from Ny'alotha are increasingly becoming the main feature of WoW Patch 8.3 and ensure that one or the other activity in World of Warcraft feels significantly more rewarding again. After all, there are echoes for almost all types of content (except island expeditions and pet fights) and you can use them to buy valuable things from MOM in the ventricle. In addition to missing essences that you have unlocked with another character, you have also been able to buy corruption effects for some time and put them on your equipment. For this purpose alone, many players are currently farming echoes from Ny'alotha and collecting them until the desired corruption is available again from MUTTER.
WoW: MOTHER now also sells cape upgrades – for 2,000 echoes from Ny'alotha (1)
Source: Buffed
With a hotfix, Blizzard has now expanded MUTTER's offer. For 2,000 echoes from Ny'alotha you can now get from the titanic guard Malicious coresto make your legendary cape Ashjra'kamas to upgrade. So if you don't feel like spending your time in the visions or looking for a group for a N'zoth kill, you now have another option to get the weekly upgrade.
The amount of Malicious coresby the way, you can buy yourself is not limited. This means you can get your cape up to the current maximum level relatively quickly if you have enough echoes. The other two sources are of course also retained. Every week you get one core from the vision (upon completion of all quarters) and one from killing N'Zoth (normal or higher). By the way, nothing changes on the way from cape level 1 to 15. You will only be offered the cores by MOTHER when you have completed the quests and your cloak has reached level 15 – so it is not entirely without visions.
